About Us

Steven began his professional career when he was 16 years old.  Photographing everything you can imagine.  Driving his family crazy by always snapping images.  Even though he spent several years in the beginning not only photographing weddings but also children, family portraiture, models and even commercial work.  His passion then and now is still weddings.  Today he specializes in just creating classic and unique wedding images.

"I remember the day i got my first camera.  I was 9 years old when my sister in law gave me her old swinger camera. I was in heaven!  I knew then where my place in life would be."

Steven's photographic career has spanned almost 3 decades.  May 2008 will celebrate 28 years.  Even though photography has taken many changes, one thing has stayed the same "His passion for his art of photography."

Currently, Steven is working on a extraordinary, but hauntingly up close expressions of people living on the streets of New York, Chicago, San Francisco and New Orleans.  Plans for this exciting exhibit, titled "My Image" is scheduled for early spring 2009.
"With the intro of the digital world of photography, along with everyone else including Uncle Bob and Aunt Sue call themselves photographers.   Most of them know they just take pictures.  I feel i'm one of the lucky ones.  I began my career with negatives, darkrooms and yes smelly chemicals.  Learning the true art of creating images.  Having the chance to learn f-stops, shutter speeds and correct exposures.  Deciding which film to use for the shoot the next day."

Over a period of almost 30 years, photographing over 2600 weddings his personal life and career has gone though many changes.  Today he is  known and respected for his true passion and love...The Art of Photographing Weddings.

"With weddings you are seeing and capturing people at the happiest time of their life."

While creating his unique style of photographic art, operating his own studio and commercial darkroom, in the 80's Steven toured across the United States for workshops, art shows and seminars.  Helped on projects for a long list of large corporate companys, newpapers and TimeLife Magazine.  Winning several awards for what he calls his one and only photographic contest.

In the 90's Steven spent several years with Vance Commercial Color Lab.  Working on exhibits such as Cathrine The Great, Cathrine The Great (Los Angeles), Russia, The Great Wall Of China, Etrusans, and The Titanic.

With his world wide photographic art promotions, not only covering Memphis and surrounding areas but now photographing weddings in Tampa area.  He still finds time to be a full time dad with 2 kids and 5 dogs.
